Condition: This is a very rare Springfield Armory NATIONAL MATCH barrel dated 3 - 28 (March 1928) .30-06 caliber, 4-groove barrel for 1903 Springfield rifles. It is an AIR GAUGED barrel originally installed on a Springfield Armory National Match rifle. It has both the identifying "bug" on the muzzle and the corresponding "star gauge record number", in this case it is the letter "G" over the number 220. It has a bright and tight bore, crisp lands and grooves, a very good 1+ muzzle index and a >7 throat index (see photos). It has been threaded on the muzzle for a blank firing device.
