Description
This is a nice, crisp
"Dua Setengah"
or Two and a Half Rupiah note from
"Republik"
not the
"Bank"
of Indonesia". It was issued in 1961.
After World War II Indonesia had declared itself independent from the Dutch and elected Sukarno the first President. Like many Javanese people he only had the single name. This note was issued while he was in office. He served until 1967.

Black, dark blue and brown on blue-green underprint. Dated 1961. Farming corn.
Back:
DEO 051649 • Grains.
The Note:
A nice crisp note, it has been gently folded but not creased in the center. Bright color with no tears or holes. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself.
