1973 Volkswagen Thing

This Thing is AWESOME!!! It has the kind of cool th at you normally can't run out and buy! It is all about the vibes in this sweet ride.  The engine runs good, has minor oil leaks, I have been driving it daily back and forth to work.  The previous owner made it ride and drive much better than the body would indicate.  The gauges do not work, the speedo needle just bounces around.  The seats were very recently reupholstered, and they look very nice.  The tires are basically new, the e brake needs attention.  I do not have a top for this vehicle.  The stereo is amazing, I love thumping reggae in this thing, it gets all the smiles!  The box was custom built and it really adds to the cool factor.  The body is either the weak point or the strong point of this car, it just depends on your style.  If you are looking for a unique vehicle and see patina as art, then this thing may be the right "Thing" for you.  If you have zero or a lot of bad feedback please message before bidding, I will delete any seemingly bogus bids.  California bidders will need to pay all applicable sales taxes and registration fees as I am a licensed Ca auto dealer.  Please ask any questions, if I dont know the answer I will try to find it out for you.
