Antique / Vintage US ARMY WW2 Blasting Machine (10 cap) Pat. 1930

This item is surprisingly heavy for its size.  A WW2 10 cap Blasting machine.  The unit makes my multi-tester needle jump when the handle is cranked after a few cranks.  I guess that means it works.  Please do not ask me to hold the thumb nuts and try it (I won't) (Perhaps the Mrs. Though!!!!!!).   I do believe (as stated on the name plate in photo) that it must be used to build up and restore capacity in the unit.  It has been sitting for years unused until just now.  The case is made of brass.  Paint finish (if there was one) is gone.  Perhaps someone removed it.  In any case it is just as I acquired it years ago.  Just looking at it makes me think of old movies with John Wayne.  I remember playing outside with friends as a young kid (we did that back then and survived) throwing pine cones (hand grenades) and turning a stick (this blasting machine) pretending to be in a war movie.  I guess that is why I bought the thing.  The unit stands 8 inches tall with the handle inserted for operation.  The leather strap is in really good condition especially for its age.
Sold as is.  Return only if not as described and shown in photos.  No Overseas Shipping at this time.  I am still fully employed and overseas shipping consumes too much time and can create issues.  Thanks.
