    Description

This is the original artwork by the renowned California Automobile Artist -   Illustrator Hector Luis Bergandi of Ferrari Pilot Luigi Villoresi driving his Ferrari 375 to victory in the 1952 F1 Daily Mail International Trophy Race, Boreham Circuit, England.
Luigi Villoresi was one the leading official Ferrari factory drivers in 1952 along with Ascari, Bodoni, Bracco, Farina, Scotti, Simon, and Taruffi.
The Luigi Villoresi artwork was published in Rosso Ferrari Magazine issue seven, Fall 1992. (See photos).
The artist illustrated the Ferrari Piloti starting with the 1947 stable.  Bergandi's interpretation of each Pilot is both compelling and expressive, capturing the true racing challenges of each pilot and the Ferrari race car they drove.
The car art measures approximate 15 ¼  inches wide x 8 ½  inches deep.
The portrait art measures approximately 8 ½  inches wide x 9 ½  inches deep.
Also included with this art package is a copy of Rosso Ferrari Magazine, Issue Seven, Fall 1992.
These two original artwork illustration pieces and the magazine are more than 30 years old. Each one is in excellent condition. (See photos).
This 1990 Original Bergandi Ferrari artwork of the early Ferrari Drivers and the Cars they drove may be the last visual artwork to be rendered solely by a Human Artist. At the rate of speed that technology is dominating our lives, future vintage Ferrari artwork will probably be artist-assisted A.I. Fakery.  This may be the beginning of the end of the true visual history of Enzo Ferrari and his Legendary Race Cars.
    Provenance:
My agency, Hank Forssberg Inc. Advertising handled the Advertising and Marketing for Ferrari North America from 1977 through 1995. During my 18-year relationship with Ferrari North America and Ferrari S.p.A., I accumulated an extensive collection of hundreds of Ferrari collectibles/memorabilia from Ferrari North America and from the Factory in Maranello.
I personally recommended to Ferrari North America Management that they launch the introduction of the 348 Spider in Beverly Hills, California by closing off Rodeo Drive and having the first ever Ferrari Concours d’Elegance on Rodeo Drive as the highlight of the 1993 Introduction of the 348 Spider.
My agency designed and produced all of the marketing and advertising materials for the 348 Spider Introduction as well.
As a result of my relationship with Mr. Bergandi, I also commissioned him to design a poster for the 348 Spider Rodeo Drive Introduction.
During my 18-year relationship with Ferrari, I was also the Editor of Rosso Ferrari Magazine.  During my tenure, I edited and published 9 Issues from 1990 through 1993 including Issue number Eight – Ferrari Rodeo Drive.
As the Editor of Rosso Ferrari Magazine, I commissioned Hector Luis Bergandi to create Original Ferrari Car Artwork Illustrations to be featured in all of the 9 Rosso Ferrari Issues. Luigi Villoresi was one of the Ferrari Pilots featured in Rosso Ferrari Seven, Fall 1992. (See photos).
I am in the process of selling my Ferrari memorabilia collection including the Bergandi artwork and for the past 45 years or so, I have kept all my Ferrari collectibles in an Archival Storage environment in order to preserve as much of their original condition as possible. All of my Ferrari collectibles are originals and range in condition from good to excellent to museum-quality. Thanks for viewing.
If you are a Ferrari owner, a collector of Ferrari Memorabilia or a vintage car aficionado, the Luigi Villoresi original artwork illustrations are truly a rare one-of-a-kind, an exclusive must-own addition to your collection.  5.00.00 plus shipping and handling.
