    on the original machines using new reproduction buckles and hardware.  The cotton webbing is a USA made Heavy Duty material in OD 7 green specially made.These are very limited quantities that are being made and American Fabrics one of the original canvas manufactures during WWII.. This sling was a head of its time and can be used for the following positions: Parade, Short Carry, Long carry, Sniping and Shooting Position. These were the original slings assigned for the Thompson SMG as well as the M1 Garand, 1917
