    Description

    Fresh from the estate of a local bibliophile and history buff comes this rare complete set of the
    Order of Battle of the United States Land Forces in the World War
    .
    First printed in 1937, this set was printed in 1988 by the United States Army’s Center of Military History in Washington, D.C.
    As you can see, the set is in like-new condition; as far as I can tell, it’s never even been read.
    The five books are:
    Volume 1:
    American Expeditionary Forces: General Headquarters Armies, Army Corps, Services of Supply, Separate Forces
    Volume 2:
    American Expeditionary Forces: Divisions
    Volume 3, Part 1:
    Zone of the Interior: Organization and Activities of the War Department
    Volume 3, Part 2:
    Zone of the Interior: Territorial Departments/Tactical Divisions Organized in 1918/Posts, Camps, and Stations
    Volume 3, Part 3:
    Zone of the Interior: Directory of Troops
    I have only rarely seen a complete set of these books for sale anywhere, and never one in such fine condition; you may never come across another like it.
