Original Pre-World War II 1903/1903A3 C Stock Full Pistol Grip

Description

Original Pre- World War II Government Issue (GI) 1903 walnut type C stock (full pistol grip) with correct hand guard, butt plate and other metal parts except stacking swivel.
This is a
not
a reproduction stock.
It is an original Government Issue (GI) walnut type C stock (full pistol grip) from the 1930s.
The stock has an oil finish with slight sheen and reinforcing bolts & nuts.
This auction includes other metal hardware except stacking swivel and a correct hand guard (see pictures).
The stock is in excellent condition with very nice wood grain.  Unfortunately, the pictures do not show the excellent condition and finish of this stock.
It is about 80 years old and has some dings (see pictures).

The stock has no cartouche .
It had the  "4" of the part number (D1836-4) stamped on the bottom of the butt.
However, this disappeared in cleaning the grease off the stock.  The type C stock was used on new production 1903A1s (there were very few), rebuilt rifles, and national match rifles.   There is no circle P.
Other sellers are selling reproduction type C full pistol grip stocks for over 0.00.
Why have a reproduction stock when you can have an original one?
It fits the U.S. MILITARY SPRINGFIELD 1903, 1903A1, 1903A3, 1903A4 models. Although it would be most appropriate on a 1903.
It may require a little fitting.
