Ok,here is a nicely marked sling for your carbine...it is dated 1943...the maker is faded but i think is either..? M C.O...probably sm co or bm co,not sure...it is 45 inches long with painted steel c-tip ends...look to be 9 rows of stitching...there is an interesting mark on slider(not a W)...I have taken lots of close ups so you can see ...
