    Description

This is set of five original lot cards that were included in U.S. Army bandoliers for AP and ball rounds of ammo made by the Twin Cities (TC, Ramsey County, Minnesota), Lake City (LC, near Independence, MO), and St. Louis (SL) ordnance plants in 1942 and 1943, with one repacked by the Salt Lake City ordnance plant. Headstamps on the ammo were either 42 or 43. The cards were included in bandoliers containing 8 of the 8-round Garand ammo clips or 16 of the 5-round stripper clips for a Springfield rifle. They were stamped with information about the arsenal and lot number of the manufactured rounds to indicate the origin and date of manufacture of a lot of ammo should there be a problem. Please note these are paper cards and nothing more, they were included in WWII ammo bandoliers but have no use today other than as a collector item. Please see photos. They are unused and in fine shape, show perhaps a little age toning from the 78 years or so they were in storage, but they are essentially mint. Guaranteed 100% original, made in 1942 or 1943. Don't see these for sale "on the loose" very often. ******
