    Description

    One well used but in good condition U.S. Army Canvas Field Map Case.  In condition received from Soldiers estate.  Auction includes writing, drawing and marking supplies used in conjunction with these cases.  Including Grease Pencils, lead pencils, mechanical pencil, eraser and military map protacter for measuring grid and compass angles and degrees.  All stitching is present and still tight with no rips or tears in canvass.  Has some handwritten/handprinted information on exterior.  Interior has pencil and supplies pockets along with pockets for maps and/or photographs.  Used in WW 2, Korea, Vietnam and beyond by our Soldiers.  Has non original military carry strap.  See Photos for further descriptions.  These are becoming difficult to find and I have never seen one with supplies in it.  One of the pencils is interestingly marked Los Angeles Country Club so who knows who carried it and when.  Ships via USPS First Class Mail unless otherwise stipulated by the buyer.
