    Description

Up for bid is a very nice NOS US Army Medical Dept. Sterilizer with all its parts.
The Burrows metal instrument Field sterilizer, no. 99540, is listed in the Army Medical Dept. Catalog of 1941.
It is complete, with all the parts you see in the pictures. NOTE, The Box is not included.  The picture is there for reference only to show the army part number.
The equipment of an Aid station was limited to the instruments, medicines, foods, blankets, and litters necessary for the emergency care and treatment of casualties, and especially battle injuries. Organizational equipment largely consisted of Medical Chests, such as MD # 1 with surgical dressings; MD # 2 with drugs, instruments, and sterilizer.
This 9 3/4" sterilizer cleaned all the instruments in the Small, Improved Instrument Roll.  Last photo shows the Sterilizer set up for use.  Please see pictures for condition details.

If there is ANY problem AT ALL with your order, please email or message me directly. PLEASE do not "open a case," "request a return," "item not as described," or "resolve a problem." eBay unfairly penalizes the seller (me) even if it's not really a problem and can be fixed right away. So, PLEASE just "Contact Seller" and send me a message so we can fix whatever the problem may be together.....
