    Description

    This is a set of original US Navy Bureau of Aeronautics issue high altitude sheepskin flying boots. Condition is used very good. Rubber lowers and soles are soft and flexible. Sheepskin uppers are generously sheepskin lined and in very good condition. The Navy flying boots were a work of art. Twin zippers on the front. One was used for quick escape if forced down in the water. The design allowed the pilot to pull the zippers upward for quick removal. Original Bu Aero labels indicate these are a size medium. Will fir a 8-10 size show. All four zippers are in good working condition. Boots each have lacing on the back to adjust for a superior fit. Zippers still retain the original leather pull tabs. These were made in relatively small numbers compared to the AAF A-6 boots and thus are always very hard to find. Don’t miss out. All items sold are 100% guaranteed.
