USAAF TYPE B-4 MAE WEST LIFE VEST

This is a great find. It is an original US Army Air Forces Type B-4 Mae West Life preserver. Still soft and flexible. Color is still a bright yellow. This rates as very good condition overall and it is rare to find these 75+ year old vests still soft and nice. There is no readable date. Marked,  "PROPERTY, U.S. ARMY AIR FORCES".  This is the classic horseshoe style life vest used by all Pilot’s and Air Crews. This is 75 years old and not suited for use as a life preserver.
