Vintage Ferrari Factory GTO Press Information Kit. 1984. Rare Find.

This is an official Ferrari Factory Authorized Press Information Kit for the introduction of the new Ferrari GTO in 1984.
The black exterior pocket folder (GB) contains the Ferrari Rosso GTO Press Information brochure, six 8-inch X 10-inch black and white press photos of the new 1984 GTO including the vintage GTO.  The pocket folder also includes the Zincrox press information brochure.
The GTO brochure is 16 color pages with multiple gate foldout pages as well as a tissue overlay gate foldout spread. (see photos). The GTO press brochure has a 4-page heavy coated stock, front and back cover.  There is a pocket folder on the inside back cover that holds the photos and the Zincrox press brochure.
The GTO press brochure and the Zincrox brochure measure approximately 8 3/4 inches wide x 12 1/2 inches deep.
The Zincrox press brochure is a 6-page gate foldout with a separate 4-page cover.
The Zincrox press brochure illustrates in detail the exclusive Ferrari anti-corrosion protection process.
The black outer pocket folder shows its age of 37 years with signs of wear and tear. There is multiple ink chipping on all edges and the lower right-hand front cover shows the most wear and tear. (see photo). The black and white photos look a little faded to me. The photos are ok. But I guess after 38 years on a shelf in an office closet, they must have lost some of their luster. (see photos).
The GTO brochure shows minimal ink chipping on the edges. (see photos).  The Zincrox press brochure shows no ink chipping.  The GTO press brochure and the Zincrox press brochure, both are in overall excellent condition considering their age of 38 years.
This 1984 Ferrari GTO Press Information package may be the only complete official Ferrari GTO package available on the market today. (US Version).
It contains the official black outer pocket folder, the Ferrari factory GTO press information brochure, the official Zincrox press information brochure and the 6 photos.
I had two of these GTO packages in my collection and sold the other several months ago.  I owned both since the late 80's.
This 1984 Ferrari GTO Press Information package is truly a unique Ferrari treasure.  A must-own.
