vintage ROGERS DRUMS Big R DynaSonic snare drum shell built with no tone control

Yee haw !!
You are looking at a nice used vintage ROGERS DRUMS 5x14 DynaSonic snare drum shell.
Chrome over brass

The size is 5x14.
This one has Serial number D23310.
Year is about 1975-1980 give or take a couple years.
Parts are missing, it's just a shell.
The Big R badge remains, and is in fairly nice condition.
The grommet is still in, all other parts are gone.
This one was built with no tone control ever.
This snare drum shell would be a great drum when put back together.
Buddy Rich liked a DynaSonic.   You could too.
And Buddy like a DynaSonic with NO tone control ever.
Those are hard to find, most DynaSonics have the tone control .
There are a couple of scuffs in a panel or two.
Photos show most of the flaws, including the dent behind where the throw off goes.
Another very slight dent behind one lug.  That's about it for dents.
The chrome is clean and looks good, but you can further detail it yourself.
This drum has not been cleaned with steel wool, so that's good news.
I don't see those fine scratches that fine steel wool can make.
We never recommend steel wool, and we never use it.
And this is why.
You shouldn't use it either, at least not on nice drums.
This shell itself weighs 3 pounds and 7.2 ounces.
