    Description

Offered for sale is a pair of U.S. Army Signal Corp, field telephones the ones that were used in WWII.  They are U.S. Army Signal Corp Telephone # EE-8-B. As they are close to 80 years old they are in pretty good shape.  The specifics of each phone is noted below:
#1 light brown case.  The case is stiff but in remarkable condition.  I don't know if it can be softened up or not, it is pretty thick leather. The strap is still in tact. The Phone and handset are OK however the wire between the phone and handset will have to be replaced.  There is minimal battery damage where the "D" cells go.  One wire spring only has some corrosion but looks like weather related corrosion as opposed to acid damage
#2 dark brown case. Like #1 the case is stiff and in this case the strap is broken.  The phone and handset are OK but like #1 the wire will have to be replaced.  There is no battery damage on this unit.
