    WWI AEF Liberty Loan Patches
    This one is for the GHQ ( General head Quarters) of the AEF
    These patches were manufactured by the Treasury Department to generate
    interest and participation in the Liberty Loan Program used to support the cost of the War Effort.
    They are various sizes from 2 1/2 inches to 3 inches square typically but other sizes were used.
    All of them have edges of about 1/4 inch folded over to the back side.
    The patches were worn by Soldiers and civilians and showed that a Liberty Loan had been purchased
    These Patches are listed in the ASMIC Catalog and were produced from about 1918 to 1921.
    So all of them are 100 years old or older now!
