    Description

    "DIARY OF A WWI PILOT--AMBULANCES, PLANES, FRIENDS--HARVEY CONOVER'S ADVENTURES IN FRANCE, 1917-1918" is the biography of Harvey Conover as written in his daily diaries. This book is presented by his daughter, Frances Conover Church. Conover was a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Service, A.E.F. France, 90th Aero Squadron. The diary entries start in March 1917 and end in November 1918. His detailed account of his time in France as a front-line ambulance driver, then a flight trainee and decorated combat pilot. Totally fascinating! Mr Concover passed away in 1958. His diaries were found after his passing.
